Backup media is removed from our corporate office each evening and stored at a separate location to insure that a current copy of each managed database is retrievable, even in the event of a disaster or total loss at our headquarters. In addition, we run leading software to manage your data in a scalable environment protected from the potential dangers which exist. Security Our security procedures insure that outsiders cannot access your data and internal access to guest information is limited to authorized users via passwords and encryption. In addition, the computer network at our corporate office is protected from viruses, attacks, hackers, power failure and acts of nature, using a proprietary configuration of hardware and software, firewall technology, redundancy and back up. At no time is any of our clients protected data accessible to anyone though the public Internet or other type of wide area network. Confidentiality Restaurant Database Services collects personally identifiable information about your guests for the sole purpose of building and managing your database, which is owned by you, our customer. Once you register with Restaurant Database Services and begin to submit your database entries, your guests are not anonymous to Restaurant Database Services and our employees. We employ measures that legally bind our employees, contractors and vendors to treat your data as confidential and not disclose or use the information in any way. Restaurant Database Services will not sell or rent your guests personally identifiable contact information to anyone, ever, period.
